I have the 8 degree infectors. I had no problems with the stage 1. I still am not seeing any problems with Rhineharts, S&S gear drive and 510 cams. I will be installing a sert . With all the added power I feel, I do not believe it is true through the power band and want to see how it changes things. I am only getting about 40mpg now with 2500 miles. Thanks foe participating.

I had cold starting and problems even when let the bike warm up. I have numerous times had to feather the crap out of the clutch so i wouldn't drop the bike coming out of my driveway turing. The first few times i'm not sure how I saved it, but gladly I did!!

Problem solved with new injectors.

I'm glad to hear your problems are solved. I have a 2006 ULTRA & having the same issues as you. I had the 95" mod done shortly (250 miles) after buying the bike, now has 1100 miles. It does all the things as yours, getting about 30 mpg, plugs are black, must have been set very rich after the build. My 25* injectors are at the dealer, to be installed tomorrow.Hope my problems are solved.

I had the 25° CVO injectors installed last Monday the 6th. I have the Stage 1 on my bike and they said no new map was needed as the re-map and tweaking they did with my SERT a couple of weeks before worked fine with the new injectors. It seems to run good and it fixed my cold start problem.

06 Ultra with a early September 05 build date, SE Pro mufflers SE air filter and mapped with SERT. Bike runs like a swiss watch gets between 42 - 44mpg around town and up to 48mpg on the highway. Bike sat for almost 3 months and started right up and ran great once the bad battery was replaced under warranty.

I had a few cold starts with the 8's. Two weeks ago I talked with the Serv. Mgr. and made a appointment for my 1000 mile service. He ordered the 25's two weeks ago when I spoke with him and the 25's came in last Fri. He was happy I brought it up to him early on so he could order some before they went on back order and the wait would be real long. I'm having the new ones put on tomorrow along with the 1000 mile service.

I picked up my bike Friday afternoon with the 25 deg. inj. On the 45 mile ride home I had no popping from the exhaust. I rode about 100 miles on Sat and noticed some very lite pops now and then when letting up on the throttle. The bike (EFI) still starts first time which is a definate improvement over the 8 deg injectors.

I have have had a few cold start problems. A couple of times it coughed during the start and I liked to have never got it started. I have started documenting the problems with Harley. Of course it never does it in the shop.
