I have no idea what TTS piece means?[]

 

SERT is a product by TTS licensed to HD to market. They had a falling out. HD no longer has a license so they now sell a product by a differant company called the SEST in place of the SERT. TTS is continueing development of the SERT and selling it under a differant name. What are the new features? What have they changed in the user interface? They aren't saying until they release their new product in a week or two.

HD sells lots of products in addition to the SEST. Some feature that could be added to the SEST might hurt sales of those other products. That influences their choices as to what features to offer. TTS sells only this product for HD. All they care about is selling as many of these units as possible. The best way to do that is satisfy your customers as fully as you can manage. So it's worthwhile to wait a week or two to see how much they can manage

 

Not certain. Old number is likely SERT. New number SEST. Functionally same, SEST replaces SERT and can do standalone data logging, has native USB interface. TTS made SERT, contract ran out.

 

Oh yes, 32109-08 is the part number for the SEST.
