My "new-to-me" 2003 Ultra speedo is reading 2 to 3 times high.&nbsp\\; I searched the forum here and saw&nbsp\\;a number of&nbsp\\;posts about the speed sensor, but most folks with that problem indicated the speedo was dead and that the turn signal cancel wasn't working, etc.&nbsp\\; All else seems OK on mine other than the high reading, although I haven't checked the cruise.&nbsp\\; Odometer looks to be working fine.&nbsp\\; Any thoughts/suggestions?

If I where you I would take it to the dealer for a speedo sweep test to see if the speedo head has failed.

 

Thanks for the welcome.&nbsp\\; I need to go the new member section and properly introduce myself.&nbsp\\; Also, thanks for the response.&nbsp\\; When I rode it again yesterday afternoon, it was working fine again, so it may be tough to pin point if it is an intermitten problem.&nbsp\\; If it does it again, I probably do what you suggested and have them check it out.
