Default 1550 downlaod on 06 dyna 1450?

Ok.....&nbsp\\; Had my 06 superglide into the dealer to fix some lean conditions....
It was running 15.8-16.6 AFR at cruise.
&nbsp\\;
So they put a 1550 lownload into it...
&nbsp\\;
Says it helps smooth things out....
&nbsp\\;
Anybody heard of this before?

Wow... That is one that I would run away from...
&nbsp\\;
No Tech, Let alone dealership should do that.....
&nbsp\\;
That is a band-aid fix.... and a bad one at that....
&nbsp\\;
I hope that you didn't shell out $$$$ for that.....
&nbsp\\;
Bad thing about the 06 Dyna is that it doesn't have Adaptive Fuel....
&nbsp\\;
Did they remove your o2's and use a load control dyno and Wide Band o2 sensors to CONFIRM and LOG these results?????
&nbsp\\;
What is your Current 1450 build (Stage I Legal or Race), what style (8 or 25) injectors...

Wouldn't that be the same as changing the tuning constants on a SERT map from 88CI to 93CI?

Yes, it is, BUT.... Why is it running that lean????
&nbsp\\;
That is what has to be ID'd FIRST and Foremost.....
&nbsp\\;
and again, HOW is that AFR verified......

They put it on the dyno (after I got a bit hot at them that they had it for two hours and didn't notice anything wrong on two test rides....) not bashing the dealer, they've been very helpful, but i&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;KNOW when somethings lean and they probably thought I was just new to Harleys and was complaining about a rough ride.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
Bike has 25 degree injectors and Harley script Slip-ons stock AC
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
i assumed it was bone stock when i bought it and had them put the slash cut harley script slip-ons on it because they said it would affect it enough to need a re-map.. but, with A/F's like that, I'm interested to see if the previos owner put an A/C in it and didn't tell anyone when he traded it in.
&nbsp\\;\\\\\\;
BUT...in retrospect, as quite as those stock 06 mufflers were, atting those slip-ons might just have whacked it out, especially with a non adaptive fuel system
&nbsp\\;
going to pick up the bike tonight, will ask to see dyno logs
