Default Timing Question

I have a Datona sensors twin scan II +. I ran a data log and it shows up to&nbsp\\;8 degrees of timing being removed at approximately 15 % TP, at 2400- 2600 RPM's. For anyone that has used this set up, do I simply remove 8 Degrees of timing from my PC3 advanced map, or gradually remove timing, say something not as drastic, and go from there. I need to make some more data runs, but need to know how to start. Any help appreciated.

Default RE: Timing Question

Before removing that much timing I'd try adding fuel and run another log.

Default RE: Timing Question

If you where to compare the Twin Scan Data to the SERT data you would see the Twin Scan reads much higher in 99% of the cases so becarefull how much timing you remove cause it will kill your power. Also if the TS is showing frt and rear detonation at the same time it is a false reading because both cylinders fire at different times. Only remove 1/4 of the timing it says and I bet you will be fine

Thanks Doc,&nbsp\\;It is showing both cylinders at the same time. I'll take&nbsp\\;2 degrees out and see what happens. Stro1965 I have the AFR at 13.2 from 0-40 % TP after many log runs, it is staying the same. I did these runs at .75 time setting which I think gets me 15 mins. of data. I am still learning.
