Default air/fuel ratio after stage 1 download

What is the stock air/fuel ratio and what can I expect after a stage 1 download?

The stock AFR ranges from 14.6 in the cruise area to 12.5 at WOT on most maps with 02 sensors. `06 and earlier bikes where set at 14.4 at cruise to 12.5 at WOT. Depending on the model and the map...these ratios vary, but the AFR is not one setting all through the map. At light loads a leaner AFRis sufficient, and under heavier loads the ECM delivers more fuel making a richer AFR.

What will a stage 1 down load do.....it will richen the AFR across the board about 5% and up the rev limiter to 6200 rpm's.

No sorry but I don't recommend a bandaid fixes.&nbsp\\; The Xied might do what they say but I have never had one on the dyno that proved true what they say it does and I don't believe anyone else on this forum has actually tested them.&nbsp\\; I'm a beliver in a complete ECM tune.

Doc 1, I may be taking a ride into the back areas of Mexico. I don't expect to be able to get high test fuel. On my wife's 07 flstc I have the sert, with AC and Rush mufflers. I played with the settings and was able to get her bike to run on low grade fuel. ( I didn't say it ran as good ). The nice part is I can switch it back when we get home. Problem is, what am I going to do about my bone stock 07 flstc? Don

If your going to leave it stock try one of those night roder things but if your doing changes in the future get a TTS V-Tuner that will be out in a couple of weeks....or a SERT

I have&nbsp\\;two versions of that thing on order and will do some data logging to see what it winds up doing once the bike adjusts the fuel trim tables.
&nbsp\\;
I was also going to try o2 eliminators after the ECU homes in to the inline devices to see what happens.
