My wonderful H-D fuel guage has a mind of its own - it works sometimes and then not well. So ... can someone here help with a detailed procedure to change the fuel gauge sender unit? Apparently, that is the component that fails or works irradicately. Any help is appreciated.

PS - I also use the trip odometer to check fuel level and fill-up mileage.
