Default 07 fxstc very strange problem

OK, here is whats going on. 07 fxstc, pipes, AC, pcIIIusb. bike ran great when all goodies installed in march, no problems whatsoever. 2 weeks ago, washed bike, later that day go riding. After approx 60 min of riding bike starts running weird, wont idle, let off throttle, dies, start back up, only keep it idle if you just barely crack throttle and hold it, also, when you get on the move, say riding 55 mph at 2600-3000rpm or so, you can feel the bike "stay" at that rpm, even if you let off throttle, it races to 3000 and stays there, pretty scary. Sooo, if you pull off, shut off, attempt to start, backfires, sounds like crap, do this a couple of times, it will idle ok, run ok for a bit, then starts all over. bring home look at everything, no water, unplug main fuse couple of times. bike runs great no problems next day, 300 miles, flawless and continues to do fine, couple of weeks later, does it again, not day of washing, but maybe 2 days later. ecm did set a code 505 (loss of control of ide), duh, tell me something i dont know, any ideas.

Same thing happened to me with a ThunderMax ECM. Had to unplug the main cable from the ECM, used a blow dryer and got it all dried out and it never happened again. Little concerned since I was being very careful not to flood the area with water.

For those who install PCIII it is really important that you put some conductive grease in the connections so there is no or little chance of water getting into the connections...
