Default Leaving mt sert alone?

I am new to this sert thing since this is my only EFI bike (08 Ultra). I had the dealer do a stage one with the Screamin Eagle touring pipes. Is it safe to assume that the sert is basically tuned right? Bike seems to run great. Seems quick and reponsive with decent gas milage. I am anxious to see the sert plugged in but at the same time don't want to screw it up.

Did you buy the Screaming Eagle Race Tuner (SERT)from the dealer you got the bike from? You said that they did the stage one download for you and that would not require you to have SERT in order for that to be done.

The SERT is where the downloaded map is and it's programmedintothe EFI computer inyour bike. You don't wanting to be plugging the SERT inas it won't do anything further and you could corrupt something so yes you can assume it's tuned.

Thanks gum,,,thats what i figured looking through the manual. I saw the suggested settings for my pipes with stage 1. Back on the shelf it will go with all my other spare parts throughout the years.
