Default 07 dyna lunges forward on startup

Hey everyone. I've searched all morning because I remember seeing something about this issue and a possible fix. My 07 street bob will lunge forward on startup occasionally. It seems to do it more often after a ride and it then sits for a bit. It has done it before right after a fuel up tho. Is this a timing issue?
I'm currently running a tuned stage 1 setup with CS muffs, SE A/C, and SERT with "custom" map. Can anyone help?
Thanks.

It lunges forward in neutral? Or, are you in gear, with the clutch pulled in?

Take it to the dealer/stealer. Maybe a clutch cable or the adjusting rod behind the derby cover needs adjusting or there is something wrong with the neutral position.
If you are doing the adjusting yourself get the service manual if you don't have one.

When i'm gear with the clutch pulled in. It doesn't do it everytime.....just enough to make it annoying.

I never start my scoot while in gear. Can and does cause a lunge forward upon startup.

Exactly....clutch plates tend to stick together a bit.....If for some reason I park in gear, I aways make sure I put it back in N before startup.....stops that annoying lunging problem, and takes some of the load off of the starter.

Sticky clutch. Start in neutral and/or adjust clutch...

Actually the guys here are telling the truth.....start it in netural. The 07 line of bikes have the auto primary chain adjuster and in my persnal opinion they run the chain too tight which puts a bind on the clutch hub and gives it a draging effect.....it will get worse as the primary case expands because the chain now gets tighter and the clutch hub is binding more. Even with a good adjustment this is still going to be an on going problem and if you have a little too much run out in the main shatf it adds to the problem, so again start it in netural and it won't jump or lung at all.
BTW I'd say your timing is fine...lol
