sert map for se heavy breather
I recently put on the screamin eagle pro heavy breather on my06 street boband a sert with samson big guns 3 pipes. since i installed the heavy breather the engine light has been coming on so i checked the plugs and its running lean. the problem is there are no maps for the heavy breather only the se ac. Anyone else run into this problem and if so can i check out your map, im not brave enough to start messing with it by myself and i dont really want to drop the cash for a dyno tune. appreciate any help.

First off, Welcome Aboard... Take a moment to post an intro in the New Members Section at your earliest....
The SE Heavy Breather flows a ton more air to the motor than the SEAC....
You need to change your displacement in the TUNING CONSTANTS by adding 10 inches... Up to a 98 CI.... This will add 1 AFR to your current set-up....
You will also need to take your CLB tables to 700-750mVDC.....
Any other changes to the "Base Race Map" are on you, and you will run into problems....

Did you do as he said for your SERT Yankee?? If so how did this work for you?
I too have the SE Heavy Breather on my 08 Street Bob and loaded the canned
SERT map but im sure its still on the lean side. I am going to try this out and see
if I notice the difference. Just hoping you canprivde some info as to whether or not
changing the CID worked for you?
Thanks
Tim

Guess I have the same question with the addition of: since this is a forward facing air cleaner and is rather
huge, can it really be properly tuned in on a dyno? Is there any RAM effect in other words?
If it is impossible to tune correctly, would I be better off with using one of them there WEGO defices or just
which to an Arlen Ness or other more conventional filter and have it dyno tuned?
Thanks
Paul
