Default PC III Startup question

Hello gang. I spent a leasurley day in the garage yesterday. My FatCat is on, My SE air cleaner is on, my pcIII is on.It was mapped by Jamie @ FuelMoto. I'm so ready to fire it up for the first time.
Anything special to watch for in the way of problems or starting techniques?

Start immediately after turning on the ignition instead of waiting for the check-engine light to go out. Waiting may cause a delay-start issue that's been discussed here quite a bit.

My 05 starts whether I wait for the lights or not.
Guess I am lucky.

On '07's, there is a slight delay if started after the check-engine light goes out. Not sure about previous models.

I have a similar question. I just put a PC in from Fuel Moto on my 2007. I went to start it up and the odometer does not work and neither does the starter button. Did I knock something loose when I was in there or do I have a bad PC?

I just installed mine on Saturday.

Plugged it in and hit the button. Fired right up. I have no starting issues with my 05. I have been reading about delayed start, key on dont wait start it right away.

I have tried waiting and not waiting, it fires right up everytime.

Make sure you set your zero throttle setting.

Good luck and be safe.

It was late and I was yanking on cables and wires. I am almost sure something came unplugged.

Same here. 2008 FXDF.

No slow start issues.

No 6th Gear light issues.
