Default '08 1200N switched accessory power??

Where's the best place to grab switched power for an accessory on a 1200N? Is there a separate accessory circuit that isn't hot all the time? If so. . . where is it? Fuseblock or??? TIA

I don't have a sportster, but I *think* the answer you're looking for is any orange with white stripe wire.

It will be hot when the accessory circuit is activated (key in the accessory position) and it will be hot when the ignition is in the ON position as well.

You can pick up the wire in one of three places: Power Distribution Area (fuse area), at the Tail Light plug, or at the Headlight connector. It all depends on what you're wiring up, and where on the bike you want to put it.

What exatcly are you wiring up? You don't want to draw too much power through that wire. It may be better for you to use a relay off the battery that is switched from the orange with white striped wire.

Best of luck.
