My tach is acting up. Occaisionally, the needle jumps around, but more often than not, it just sits at around 500 rpm's. Engine is running fine. I took the back off yesterday & checked the connections; they are all good. Checked my grounds; good. Checked the pink wire where it goes into my ECU - it's good and in correctly also. Nothing is pinched under my tank, etc.

Any ideas? Time for a new one?

I just got a Mini Tach installed by the dealer yesterday and I have the same issue. I'havent talked to them since the bike was delivered to my place last night.
