Default back firing, popping and black residue on back wheel

I have a Fatboy 2007. SE Stage 1 kit, Rush slip-ons 2 inch bafflers, Power Commander USBIII with custom map from Jamie of Fuel Moto.

I get a lot of back firing on hard decels and popping, but my biggest concern is this black residue all around my back wheel on the pipes side. Other side is fine. It's killing my wheel. I did do set the throttle position for the PCIII correctly.

What can I do?? Today I also saw the engine light come on during riding, and now it keeps appearing all the time.

Any help appreciated.

Default RE: back firing, popping and black residue on back wheel

It's obvious your map is too rich, call Jamie and explain it to him. Jamie does a great job but to be honest with you sending a canned map for a bike you never seen and expecting it to be perfect isn't going to happen.....he has a great track record for good maps when taking this into consideration.

If your throttle is set right the map is too rich.
