RE: DYNO tuning with iridium plugs?
I think you may be referring to a comment I made on the forum. That was based on my tuning with a SERT and using live data runs to improve a canned map to my specs. Part of what I use is the 'knock retard' activity part of the data I record. This comes from ion sensing (this is where I get lost) which works as I understand it in conjunction with the spark plug resistance. I make the reasonable assumption that this is set for a standed OEM HD plug, so that is what I use when doing data runs.
As far as dyno work with a PCIII, I doubt it makes any difference but I would seek advice from the dyno tech.
Hope that helps and sorry for any confusion I may have caused.
