SERT: Need to read current map from ECU

Hi all-
I've asked this on other forums, maybe someone here knows how...
'03 FLSTCI
95BB, 510G, SEAC, SEII, headwork, etc. ~100/100
I had a custom map done, but the dealer doesnt have the map. I'd like to fool around with the SERT, but would like to be able to get back where I was.
Is there a hack, or other non-standard way around this?
thanks
Mark

Mtreager,
There is no way to do this that I am aware of. I have done a lot of researching on the topic and have not found a way to pull the data from the EPROM even if it wasnt overwritten maybe the MOCO could do it. The problem is once you overwrote the Eprom in the ECM with new data your old was lost, due to the overwrite. There are companies like OnTrack that can do this type of service for harddrives and tapes, but I don't know of anyone offering to do such a service for Harley ECM's.

Your only option is to hook up the SERT and use the file menu. click "file", then click "Program ECU", the click "Get ECU Info" it will then give you your VIN #, the ECU part #, and the Cal ID#. The cal ID# will be the name of the file that they wrote to your ECU. If the did it correctly it will be XXXXX-00x they should be changing the last three #'s anytime they edit a file. It should be saved on there PC that they used to do the programing. If you paid for the mapping they should owe you the file in my book.

Thanks for your help also Harry. File ended up corrupt.

I would also like to know how to retreve the current map from a dyno tune.
Really want to know if it is a canned map or a custom map.
Can you tell by a dyno chart?
I want more low end torque.
2005 Ultra 1450
SE Air Filter
SE Pro Race 1 Piece Mufflers
SERT
Can the SERT be reset to make more low end torque?
Is it my mufflers?
Here is my chart.
Thanks for comments and opinions.

Asking the person who tuned my bike, you can't get the map from the ECM to your computer. You will have to get the map from the tuner who did this. I asked for mine and he saved it to my USB drive I carry with me. If you save that in a couple of safe places and you ever upload a map that doesn't work, you can re-load your saved map. The key is getting it from the person who did the tuning.

Magnolia,
there is no fuel curve, there is no data other than a picture of what a dyno gave on a specific set of dates.
The only way to tell is to see the map and compare it from its origination of a stock map of what was done. Even then without putting back on a dyno and checking the volumetric efficiencies / fuel curve / making sure your air cleaner is clean, the tire is at 40 lbs and the clutch is not slipping beyond that it is more dyno time. I would also like to see this in SAE format vs STD.
From a 1450 with A/C and pipes you have done pretty well, but I doubt anyone will be able to answer your question without more information.
The VH pipe 2 into 1 is said to give 10 hp on a stock bike this is essentially the same pipe except it has a valve that stops air from being sucked back into the pipe. Being that you have 76 hp I would say your right on target with what the combination provides there is no quick way to reset the race tuner to give you more low end torque. That would be more of a product of switching out your cam and maybe doing a 95 kit / headwork to get more out of it.
