Default Which SERT do I get?

I have decided to go with a SERT, but now withtwo versions I am not sure which to get. Does anyone have any experience with the SERT and SERT Pro? Is the price difference worth getting the Pro version? I can only assume that since the SERT is getting replaced and TTS is coming out with a new SERT of their own, support for it will end as far as software and map updates? Anyone with input please post.

If anyone has a HQ ProTuner I would also like to hear about your experience with the product.

Thanks,
Chris

last week, Zanotti's said they don't have the "older" version and won't be getting anymore - it's been replaced with the Pro - which is on back order.

You probably will have to get the new SERT if you can find one. Try ebay for an older one as there were some on there last week. 2 left here:

It all depends if you plan to just drop the bike off at the dealer for a dyno tune or plan to tune the bike on your own. It sound like the new versin may be a little faster to tune on the dyno. If you plan on data loging to a laptop the old cheaper stufflould bebe just fine.

The old stuff now hasa newway cool graphing program that makes tuning at home very possible if you have a laptop.

I have no idea if the new stuff will ever have the same graphing capibility and you may be at the mercy of the tallent of a dealer at $100 - 150/hr

The SERT will no longer be updated by HD, since they cannot do it. The STP will be all that HD can update now and into the future. Our replacement system for the SERT should be ready by the end of the month and we will be providing an upgrade path for those who own the SERT.
