I just got my PCIII from fuelmoto with a map installed. Now Do I just install it on the bike or do I need to do anything else?

 

Slap that puppy in, hook it up to a 9V and your laptop to set the throttle positions (with the ignition on and the kill-switch in the on position but with the bike not running).

 

will there be a menu selection on the disk to set throttle position? If so, will it walk you through the required steps?

 

Yes - the instructions do a good job of walking you through it BUT be sure to have the ignition on and the kill-switch in the on position with the bike not running.They leave that part out of the instructions and it threw me for a loop.

Once you hook up your Power Commnader to the laptop and the 9V, open the Power Commander software you loaded on to the laptop andit will communicate with the Power Commander. You'll be able to see the map that is loadedon to the PC. Goto to Set Throttle Position and follow the rest. Your open position value should be somewhere around 27,000.
