SERT for 08 FLSTC
My bike is running fine but I would like to make it run the best it can so I installed slip-on's (baffled) and a SE high flo air filter. I bought a SERTand it came withsoftware v476. My bike is an 08 Softtail FLSTC. I do not see a canned calibration on there that matches my configuration unless I do not understand what I am looking at. I have tried to get the V477 software I have been reading about on the forum but it seems I am to late as it has been removed each time I go there. I live in NE Texas (Longview area) and am not sure if the Tuners here know as much as the ones on this forum, so I wanted to at least try a good canned version and see if this could save me some bucks and make my bike run better. So if anyoneknows ofa site that has a newer dl or can get me a good canned version compatible with my configuration or even tell me about a good tuner in my area, any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

RE: SERT for 08 FLSTC
Talk to cruiser85257we've been messing around with the V477 but there is really only a few maps for the 08s. With my setup maps100 and 101 were the only ones i can use. Gona go and have a local tunner dyno it for me but needed a map to get me going. good luck

No prob Steron. Yes, the '02' sensors are implied when using maps of the appropriate model year(s). '06 Dyna. '07 and '08 All models.
OE calibrations are not included. You would have to go back to the dealer to have the unit returned to a stock calibration. I highly doubt that you would want to do this if you're running pipes and high flow. It may seem like it's running fine, but I'd bet you're on the lean side, especially when the m/c is running in open loop mode. In the event you do notice some running issues, the best bet would be to invest in some dyno time. Your configuration isn't overly complicated and any competent tuner should be able to dial it in for you. If not...then I would suspect it's an exhaust issue. What brand/model mufflers are you running??

RE: SERT for 08 FLSTC
OK...most are going to have some form of a baffle, just one that's less restrictive than stock. Sounds like you may have a pair of the SEmufflers. Not all of the SE mufflers had the logo on them. When H-D makes a map it's built around their components so you should be good to go. Use the SERT map, any issues you may experience should be a very easy fix for a competent tuner.
