I called the Auto parts store where I bought mine. It seems they are carrying a different brand now. It's an Actron part number CP7875 for $29.99.

I have been running the IEDs now for almost 400 miles, Stock A/C and V&H true duells with super trapp 3" internal discs slip ons with 12 left and 14 right and open end caps , also have an oil cooler and running syn. oil, my oil temps have come down about 10* with the IEDs vs with out them, I have also noticed less heat from the engine on me and my wife also noticed the differance. I have a slight decel pop very slight, hoping the new extremes will clear this up, but am already with the IEDs. There not for the power hungy but do a whole lot better than stock with the heat management. Thanks to Steve Mullen and all the rest of the guys that have been working and testing these IEDs. Its a great product and at a price thats fair. Thanks Doc

Woo hoo! My IEDs arrived today. It's 2 AM and I'm just back from work. If the weather holds, I'll try to get them in and head out for a good ride. I'll report back. I've only riden the new scoot 100 miles so far (just a week old + New England weather), so I'm not even sure that I'm used to what was the norm. But I'm going for it anyway...

RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
My end of the 06 IED testing is pretty much done.
Results were sent to Steve where he can compare resultsand duplicte findings.
For those interested,We no longergeta check engine light on 2 stock bikes and another 06 FLTR with SE1 kit installed.
I will not reveal the test data until it has been confirmed in duplicate testing.
Let's just say the answer is coming sooner than most thought.

I would not geta infrared thermometer, that does not have the lazier pointer. I got the Auto zone one first, and it is hard to know where your pointing the thing, and hard to get a consistent, accurate reading, I ended up finding one at Sears, with the lazier pointer, for around $60. Sears also has one for $50. Could not find one with the lazier pointer at any of the auto stores.

I have read every single post on this thread so it's obvious I've been here awhile. I'm willing to give the IED's a shot, but I have one question. With my '08 FLHR, would you recommend I wait until the Extremes are availiable (any idea when that will be?) or just go with the originals?
I live in Washington state and the temps here have been COLD so I have yet to notice any heat issues yet, however I did rent an Ultra last summer and that sucker was HOT, HOT, HOT, thus the reason for wanting to cool my Road King. Thanks for all your time, effort and work on this topic.

Ride for a week or so, then take them off. Then you will know.
