For anyone interested in ECU programming you may want to look at www.technoresearch.com.
The scanner / programmer can do Delphi ECU's and create custom maps.

RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
Hope there's no problem asking this here, but I just recently picked up a pair of Khrome werks 3 hp+slipons, I also purchase the IED's from Nightrider.
The indy shop I got the slipon's through, told me I should disconnect the battery for a minute or two... I think he was referring to resetting the 02 sensors.
Is that correct to do this ? I haven't gotten any of it together yet, just need a little advice before proceeding and the weather is still pretty crappy here.
Should I put on the slipons & the IED's and just run it ?
I'm pretty muchin Cruiser's boat... I'm happy with my bike as is, not really interested in other upgrades, just want it to sound good and run proper.
Bike is an 08 lowrider, completely stock at this point.
Appreciate any feedback, thanks!

Cruiser.. thanks for your reply. No, I wasn'timplying any instructions from Nightrider, everything was straightforward there.
It was a guy atthe Independant bike shop that recommended doingit for the slipons. IED's weren't discussed with them.
I just wanted to know what your guys take was on what he said. If there was any merit to it.
I'm having a hard timewaiting for this lousy weather to get by so I can get my parts on andgo ridin'
This has been a very informative thread.
Thanks again.

Thanks for all the useful info. E-mailed Steve of Nightrider, answered a question I had. Ordered last Friday received on Monday. Incredible service. Took 10-15 minutes to install. Took a 15 mile ride. Seem to be more responsive. I think I need more time on it to really feel the difference.
Thanks again.
