RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
Need some help. Purchased the IED's. Thought that I would check them before putting them on. The battery tested 1.611 volt. Hooked every thing up per instructions for testing and the readings where 1.609 volt on the male connector. Not the same as what the instructions say. The instructions say the readings should be 1.00 to .90 volts or about 30% less then battery voltage. I dont think the ones that I have are wright. Has any else tryed to test theres & see if they come any where close to the readings that night rider says they should be.

Diebolt it would be tremendous if you could get a before and after temperature to see what difference the stage one does. Your the first one if done that would be able to contribute these numbers. You can get an infrared thermometer from any auto parts store. Just take the temp to the left of the spark plug about one inch. Make sure the sun isn't shining on that spot. Stand in its path if you have to to shade it.
First do a run and then pull to a stop and shut the bike down. Then take your temperatures. Repeat the same after the stage one download. Also note the outside temperatures on the days you run your tests.
Thanks and good luck.
