Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test

It would be better if we dumped the EPA. How stupid is it that the price of a bike is higher due to all of the EPA regulations, and then we have to spend money to make it run right?

Epa
the M/C industry is a small, part of the system and can be easily manipulated by big brother, car and trucks ran like **** in the early 70's but adopted and improved there products to operate with these EPA regs, the japs have ,we only need HD to get with the program and build a better product,I have friends who have had there FLHTC'S fall apart with less then 10K(dealer maintained) ,and they weren't abused,I have an 07 FLhTC and a 00 Yam Venture, when i travel (STURGIS ,from NY),i take the Yam,i get there and back no problems.

Just want to say that I have had the Xieds installed for a few hundred miles and it has transformed my ride. Absolutely no detonation even in 6th gear at 50 mph.
I have the 14.7 to 13.8 ones.
The bike runs well behaved in high trafic conditions at low speeds giving a more controlled ride. less down shifting as the engine does not sound as if it is starved for fuel now.
High speeds are great too.

I think I have probably posted in this thread before. I used the XIEDs when I bought my 08. Put them on the first day when I rode home from the dealer. After 1000 miles, installed the SE A/C, and V&H Dresser Duals, SEPST and had a dyno tune. (That's what happens when you read too much on here!!!!! lol) I honestly could not tell it ran any better!!!!
I often wished I had saved my money and just stayed with the XIED. Now, I am just finishing up a cam job and a gear change and plan to use the new RevPerf Precision Tuner to make the tune right. No more $90 per hour dyno tunes for me every time you change something!!!
