Street creds are not the problem. They will just accuse you of being me via a sock puppet if you have a low post count and do not worship the current pet quick-fix.

You have the right idea. Just get a proper fuel management system for your modified breathing stuff and be done with it. These things are largely-acceptable patches only when used with factory parts packages.

 

My 07 superglide is one of the good ones,NO problems with heat,trans.whine,drivability etc. I'm conservative but just had to install slipons for better sound.I was worried about running too lean so I installed Xieds.The motor did run stronger,sound better and after 1500 miles the plugs look perfect.There will be no further changes made.

 

Does anyone have a comparison(even seat of the pants)&nbsp\\;between XIED's on an 08 Ultra vs a Screamin Eagle Super Tuner with canned map, say 202TD/202TL?

 

OK...tried the IEDs...stock 2008 SG that is a leg broiler.&nbsp\\; I have no laser temp guage but my legs couldn't tell diff.&nbsp\\; Did help stumble coming off of idle.

 

The IEDs did help the annoying tendency to stumble...I've had to clutch and rev to avoid a stall...so far, no stumbling off idle.

 

plus...and I wonder why..I think that my stock exhaust has more rumble... "placebo effect"....or real?&nbsp\\; Dunno.

It's real, one of the first things I noticed as soon as I installed the IEDs.&nbsp\\; Sounds better and runs better.&nbsp\\; Not any noticible change in oil temp.&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\;&nbsp\\; I'm running totally stock.

 

I've spent most of the day reading this stuff and have a question..
Should I go with the 02 IED or the XiED for my 883c?&nbsp\\; Everything is stock except the Rush Slip ons. Thanks.
