Well this is what I have to say...&nbsp\\;\\\\\\; Running XIEDS for just over a month...
I gots a 2007 FLSTC SE air , Rush 1.75 , Stage one down load , XIEDS
Way more get up and go , Sounds way nicer ( deeper tone ) , Cruiseing is so much smother , Nice rich look at end of pipes , Gas milage is 55 miles to each IMP GAL and I am hard on it ! ,
They work real well for me and I would not go back !
Thanks to all on here to post such a good product !!!!
&nbsp\\;
Oh PS , Sold the PC III

Cruiser,

I read enough to know that if they were not connected, I would get the service engine lite. So they must be connected. This is also evidenced by the new DTC codes. What else could be incorrect about the installation?

Rider,

I saw this mentioned earlier, how could that be? If exhaust is cooler and head temp is cooler, then oil should be cooler. What am I missing? I do know that trying to measure the head temps with IR are hit and miss due to the emissivity of the surface.

Mr. Lucky,

What, everytime someone does not jump on the bandwagon you guys are going to discount the information? Don't worry, this is not Glens. Just a guy who was hoping for a cheap fix and is a little disappointed.

Matt, why don't ya leave them on and put some miles on them. Then, Take them off and see if you can tell any difference without them.
Guess there's always that possibility that you will see no difference. Can't hurt either way.

My thoughts too Mr. Lucky.
&nbsp\\;
I've also noticed lately a couple of others and they all have one thing in common, a low post count.&nbsp\\;

Doc,

Already decided I would do that. Last I heard, there is no issue with the DTC codes.

I installed the XIEDs with 2600 miles on the clock, on a totally stock bike, I now have 3200 miles. I can report that in 95 degree weather that oil temps run about 15 degrees cooler, better from the light, better roll on, less surge, alot less of its falling on its face in very hot traffic conditions, better milage (37.5 to 40 some of which may be to engine continueing to break in) Is it the be all of mods ? No! but for the money it was a significant improvement over stock! I do plan to add 1.75 Rush slip ons in the future.

Cruiser,

One difference between me and some of the other low count posters. In my profile you will see my name, email and location.
