I think Glens is not trying to tell me that XiED will harm my bike, but in this atmosphere he sure gives that impression.

If they harm the engine or its components, I realy would like to read about that. In an other thread.

And I still do not understand what Glens is trying to prove. That they are good? Or bad? Or just that he knows better than the rest of us how they realy work?

Give Cruiser a break, and try to beat his 55 pages in a thread next door. The brains are already available, with a little extra courtesy people might even start to like you...

I have yet to catch Glen in error regarding EFI knowledge. Glen just tends to go a little too technical.

Glens is technical but very intresting..my take on all this is that if your running 40%+ throttle on a stock bike with the XIED's, you may get excessive ware because of fuel dilution. Am I close?

These motors go open loop at about 15% at low RPM and about 40% throttle at higher RPM.&nbsp\\;The issue is really the holes in the map that come with mods even in the low throttle settings.&nbsp\\;These can only fill a hole so big.

You would be hard pressed to find a bike these things could damage.&nbsp\\;It is just not that much fuel. A CEL light will come on before that.

So....if you have done&nbsp\\; the SERT, did a dyno, and the scooot is set up, using the IEDs is a waste and will even screw up the tune....someone claify this?&nbsp\\; Install them after the SERT/dyno, or NOT????
