Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test

If WOT run the XIED is not going to do much correct? It is only good at idle and up to 4000rpm, so this run really only shows what the fuel pack is doing? Is this correct thinking?

Here \\;is the response I received from Steve at \\;Nightrider.

It would have been very nice to see the RPMs for this run, but I'll make
due.
The fuel might be a little rich in the lower RPM range by about .5 AFR. I
prefer to see about 12.5 AFR on WOT runs. But I wouldn't be overly concerned
the minor differences. That slightly rich mixture is because of Fuel Pak.
Because the XiED's can not impact the fuel mixture at 100% throttle, the
fuel mixture is being set by the interaction of Fuel Pak on the OEM fuel
map.
What you want to know is what the fuel mixture is a 20%, 40% and 60%
throttle at 2000, 3000, 4000 RPMs. These AFR values represent what you
experience during normal riding. The full throttle AFRs on the dyno sheet
represents less than 1% of your riding.
 \\;
I am going to leave it as is, I am getting 38 to 42 mpg and the bike is running great.

RE: RE:IEDs
I have thrown no codes with either the IED's or the XIED's. My mileage has been running between 42 and 45 consistantly over several fillups.
I just changed my A/C to a HD1499 and used "AZ Chucks" air box mod to open it up for more airflow. I expect this may have some effect on my fuel mileage.
I will be leaving on Friday for a ride to Texas so I should get a real good over-all performance read over the next week.

RE: RE:IEDs
 \\; My Bike has run the best with the XIED's. I haven't even bothered to check or care \\;to see if it's throwing a code or not. My check engine light isn't coming on, I've got a nice light coating of soot on the end of the pipes, and my butt dyno is in it's happy place.
 \\;
 \\; In fact it just came out of service and not a word was mentioned about any codes. I even left the XIED's on and they even wrapped them up a little better for me.

RE: RE:IEDs
I finally went out today and checked for codes. Sure enough, I get the 131/151 lean codes. Though my bike runs great, I am concerned that I might do permanent damage to it. I'm running the IEDs on a stock 08 EGC. Since I don't get a check engine light, I'm guessing that it'll be OK. Any thoughts?
