If WOT run the XIED is not going to do much correct? It is only good at idle and up to 4000rpm, so this run really only shows what the fuel pack is doing? Is this correct thinking?
Thats what I think to WOT is not closed loop if I remember right so the Xied's are not in the picture??

Here&nbsp\\;is the response I received from Steve at&nbsp\\;Nightrider.
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\;
Jeff\\;
It would have been very nice to see the RPMs for this run, but I'll make
due.

The fuel might be a little rich in the lower RPM range by about .5 AFR. I
prefer to see about 12.5 AFR on WOT runs. But I wouldn't be overly concerned
the minor differences. That slightly rich mixture is because of Fuel Pak.
Because the XiED's can not impact the fuel mixture at 100% throttle, the
fuel mixture is being set by the interaction of Fuel Pak on the OEM fuel
map.

What you want to know is what the fuel mixture is a 20%, 40% and 60%
throttle at 2000, 3000, 4000 RPMs. These AFR values represent what you
experience during normal riding. The full throttle AFRs on the dyno sheet
represents less than 1% of your riding.

&nbsp\\;
I am going to leave it as is, I am getting 38 to 42 mpg and the bike is running great.

I have thrown no codes with either the IED's or the XIED's. My mileage has been running between 42 and 45 consistantly over several fillups.
I just changed my A/C to a HD1499 and used "AZ Chucks" air box mod to open it up for more airflow. I expect this may have some effect on my fuel mileage.
I will be leaving on Friday for a ride to Texas so I should get a real good over-all performance read over the next week.

I took a 300 mile trip saturday, and coming home at 70+ MPH, I was getting 50 MPG! I was very suprised. That is with 07 Street bob, XIEDs, V&amp\\;H sip ons, stock filter, and P-0131 and P-0151 codes . Normal around town riding, I have been getting 40 avg. &nbsp\\;

&nbsp\\; My Bike has run the best with the XIED's. I haven't even bothered to check or care&nbsp\\;to see if it's throwing a code or not. My check engine light isn't coming on, I've got a nice light coating of soot on the end of the pipes, and my butt dyno is in it's happy place.
&nbsp\\;
&nbsp\\; In fact it just came out of service and not a word was mentioned about any codes. I even left the XIED's on and they even wrapped them up a little better for me.

Gundog, just give the 02 Eliminators a try, will not hurt anything. I am running them now and find they work well, but I would prefer the XIEDs.&nbsp\\; Doc

I finally went out today and checked for codes. Sure enough, I get the 131/151 lean codes. Though my bike runs great, I am concerned that I might do permanent damage to it. I'm running the IEDs on a stock 08 EGC. Since I don't get a check engine light, I'm guessing that it'll be OK. Any thoughts?

MotorMedic I'm in the same boat as you with my 08 Deluxe.&nbsp\\; Let me know if you find out.&nbsp\\; I sent Nightrider an email asking this same question, but I haven't heard back from them yet.

I have looked at this problem and have found that the non-CKE code(s) are set during startup, before the engine actually starts.
For the CKE to lightup, the ecu must have a running engine.
