How do you exlain this ? My 2007 FXDL with S E air cleaner and SE slip ons plus the download done by the dealership was getting 37 MPG before Xied's. With the Xied's I am getting 42.9 MPG. I ran 2 tanks of gas through it to make sure. I keep coming up with 42 plus MPG. The bike runs a lot better with the Xied's and feels like it runs cooler but in theory my fuel consumption should have gotten worse not better.

+1 on what mike and cruiser said.

Same theory as regular and hi octane gas. More AFR = bigger bang. This only works to a certain point then your having so much fun, you end up twisting the throttle more.

Hey guys, I think I know the answer to this but just want to be clear about something. These devices are simply installed inline at the ONE connection. NOT removing the portion of harness that goes from O2 to first connector? Right? (Looks like the O2 sensor has built in wire harness.) Before receiving them, and not having looked at it, I had it in my mind that you are replacing that first harness due to the length of the devices I saw in the diagram and photos posted here. Anyway thanks for any responses! I'm about to do my own testing and just received an IR thermometer. Will post results. Thanks! Ride safe!

Does anyone have a dyno on these XIED's that shows AFR before and after comparison to really see if they do the 14.7:1 down to 13.8:1 during the closed loop?

I'm having my bike dynoed some time next week(dealer is having a dyno special this month) and will see what it is stock with slip ons, and then I will order the XIEDs, and have it dynoed again!

Yes, they are just installed inline, no removing of any harness.
