Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test

RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
My testing contradicts his statement.
He either hasnt test his FP with EID's or XiED's or is working on something new.
I myself have found no use for a piggy-back to the stock ecu.
I can spend money as easy as anyone else (ask my wife) but before I woud spend it on such an item I would save for a SERT. I would have to learn it well before I tried to create a map.
Dont mean to offend anyone who uses this or that piggy-back, just dont want duplicate what the stock ECU is capable of doing.

Mr. Clean:
Like you I didn't see major changes in temps. But the Bike stays cool even in the hotter weather. Take a look at my picture. This is approx the spot I hit for temps. Might as well be consistent with each other.
The other changes you noted are nice, aren't they? I love the way my Bike runs now.
Thanks for the update,
Dave

Like Rider57 says, I don't need any piggy back device. Save your money, and just put the XIED on, you will find you don't need anything else.
I'm now running Rush slip ons with 2 inch baffles and the K&N RK3909 air kit with only the XIED. The Bike has never run better. It's still running nice and cool as shown in my test results from yesterday a 94 degree day out here. I'd be throwing my money away buying any more fuel mngt. units.
The Delphi unit coupled with Steve's XIED's is a Kicking Combo that is all most of us want. It delivers a cool running engine, quicker throttle response, and great acceleration. All for a whopping price of $109.

Mike, the RK3909 K&N air kit is a complete kit. Here's a link that describes it. http://www.knfilters.com/search/prod...x?Prod=RK-3909
You still use your original Football shaped Stock cover. These K&N kits can be had at local auto parts stores like Auto Zone for about $120.
No significant temperature changes noted at this time.
That's got to be frustrating waiting for your Bike.[:'(]

I ordered the XIED'S this morning. I wonder if someone could post a good picture of how they arranged them after they installed them on the bike. I know you are going to have some excess wire there. Was just curious to see a good picture of them installed. I have an '08 Ultra.

Dave,
Thanks. Yeah after posting I went and looked at K&N and answered my own question!
Were'nt you running something different than stock awhile back? I remember you mentioning going back to stock air box from something else, and getting cooler temps. I am just trying to decide the ultimate set up using the XIEDs only, and no other fuel mngmnt system.
