How would the new XiED's work with the Fuelmoto Rush modified slipons with everything else being stock? Here is the raw data from a dyno run with a Fuelmoto Power Commander with the modified Rush slipons and a free flow filter.

RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
Harley Dawg, I am familiar with Fuel Moto's modified Rush exhaust. The XIED's would work very well with those pipes. As far as obtaining the same numbers, we don't have any vehicles dyno tested with that setup.
Keep in mind that closed loop with the XIED's your going to be running in the 13.8 Ball Park.
WOT throttle you'll default to the closed loop settings of the stock ECU which according to Steve is "Varies depending upon the load on the engine, but at wide open throttle the OEM AFR is 12.5:1. So even if riders install exhaust and air cleaner upgrades, this is only going to change the AFR seen at the tail pipe to 12.8-13.0:1."
I would say the results should be very good, and definitely easier on your pocketbook.

RE: Nightrider O2 IED's - Field Test
There's a lot of reasons for fuel mileage to change. The testing that has been going on up here shows in some cases a minor drop of maybe 1 or 2 miles per gallon.
A lot of it depends on how you have your Bike set up, and most importantly how you ride the Bike. I can take my Bike out and get my fuel mileage to drop too, if I grab a handful of throttle every time I start off. I'm not necessarily saying it's your fault.
I see by your other posts that you have been plagued with problems and even considered getting rid of your Bike. A lot of the 5th gear complaints and the rocks in the can complaint were self induced by the rider operating the Bike at too low of an RPM. In other words lugging the Bike. The IDS does work well, I got one myself.
Need more data to go on here. What is the setup of your Road King? Pipes, air kit, any other mods? What are your typical driving conditions? You say you went for a 150 mile trip, where did you go? Two up or by yourself?
8 mpg loss is not typically seen with the IED's.

The IDS works great. I think HD should of taken care of us 07 owners. Think about it, since when does a Motor Company make an accessory for one specific Year, and class of Bike. Then turn around and make it standard equipment on the following year. They pulled a quick one.
A good strong head wind can help you suck up fuel. Especially if your trying to maintain highway speeds. It's like dragging an anchor.
As you can see by the price of the IED Steve at Nightrider is not trying to get rich. He's a good Man and will do the right thing by you if the situation warrants it. Just go back and read the previous 26 pages. You'll see not one single complaint on low fuel mileage.
I would wait for better riding conditions when your not battling with a head wind and see how your Bike performs. Steve will stand behind his product, you won't get burnt.
