Default Question for you Thundermax Experts

I just installed the Thundermax autotune on my 07 Roadglide. I found the closest base map based on my stuff(stock with k&N and Wild pig slipons), followed the directions for intial setupthen took it for a ride and it was a great improvement over the PCIII. I have since rode it 7-8 more times and it is running great but since the install the exhaust sounds a little deeper than normal and the exhaust popps and farts when I let off the throttle and let the engine brake the bike. Will the auto tune correct for this or is this something I should fix with Smartlink. I have it set to the default 5% and 40% correction values. Should I be more aggressive and let it correct more on each trip? Any suggestions or advice will be greatly appreciated

It may require 200 miles or more before the bike tunes in, but remember that each time the bike starts and shuts down is one tuning cycle. If you go for a 100 mile ride pull over, shut the bike down and restart every 25 or 30 miles so that you get more tuning cycles in. Mix up the riding so that all of it isn’t on the interstate. If the bike will not tune in after that then look for a map that is a better fit or call Zippers and talk to the guys there, they may be able to suggest a map that will work better. A tweak using Smart Link may also be required but put more tuning cycles on it first.

Good luck with it.
