Ordered a pro tuner since february from chicago harley, hasn't arrived yet. Don't know or haven't heard of anyone who has tried it.

 

I have had one on my 08 RK standard since the week before bike week. It took quite a bit to get it figured out at the dealer but they were able to get it going. I have a stock motor with Rinehart TD and SEAC. I had to order mine from Kathy at Chillicothe Harley in Ohio. She had them in stock and it came with a cd, I ordered cables as well. The problem I have seen so far is with the 08 ECMs. Only certain ones will communicate with the set up. Once the dealer switched mine for one from another new bike it worked fine. Sergeant206

 

I've tuned with a couple of them so far and actually used the road test data collection on 4 occasions. It is nice to collect data without a lap top with you to say the least but $150.00 more is a little steep in my opinion.

 

So what Im think Im reading here is that with the Pro Super Tuner I dont need to go to the Dealer to get it tuned?

From what I have read about the SEST, I would not even considder it as an option at this point. IMHO the TTS unit is the&nbsp\\;best choice at this point.

The last 2% HP you'll get if you get it tuned - but I was surprized how well&nbsp\\; my bike runs with the canned maps supplied on the CD that comes with the dongle - dyned - not tuned - but dynoed 87.5 HP / 99 Tq ...

You can make a map or buy a map or have one dyno tuned but what you listed is only the tools you need to apply the map to your ECM
