Hi
Can anyone tell me how to get the latest 4.5 version of firmware for my Tmax?
I have tried the online D/load but can only get the 4.4 version for some reason?
I have some slight decel popping and want to use the new functions in the 4.5 to addres this.

4.4 is still the official current release. 4.5 has been given out at shows, but has still not been "officially" released. If it is not on your disk, you can call Zippers and ask them for it, but they have not posted it yet.

When you are linked, take a look at the "About Smartlink tab at the top of the page. It should show both the Smartlink and Firmware version numbers.

 

Think I have solved my own problem!
Decided to re install the original s/ware disc on my computer and when I did this the relevant features of the 4.5 firmware were there and operable?
When I do the "about Smartlink tab it does not say 4.5 version just a date of build? eg:- 2007
So I can only assume it is the latest version.Have also done the web update feature.
I will re load the map tommorow with the decel fuel ajustment enabled and see how that goes.
I assume I will have to clear all learned offsets first and re initialize and then do the learning thing again?

 

I have firmware version 4.5. If you tell me how to upload it I will. Or I could email it.

 

System refuses the file when I try to upload it, so an email seems to be the only way. I can foward the email I got from Zipper's Support. Let me know.

AJAYRK, if you are still able and willing, I would appreciate it if you could forward that email with the attachment to me! Zippers is out of the office on the weekends, of course, and I am not sure if they will be in tomorrow!!

 

I really don't know what version I have for software. Just got it this week. The disc says software version 2007.0.10. The (about) says firmware version N/A. From the site it would appear to be version 4. Can't find any way to get 4.5.

The disk should have a file called "EFI_THUNDERMAX-01_Version44_12-19-06.B19" or "EFI_THUNDERMAX-01_Version45_08-22-07.B19". The version is shown right there.

 

Search fo the file FirmwareUpgrades, right click on the attachment an select "save as" then copy it to the FirmwareUpgrades folder. Or you can follow the instructions that Zipper's has attached to the email.
