I own a softail deluxe, 2006, stock engine, with SE air intake and am putting on V&H straightshot slip-ons. I bought, for a good price , a power commander, but cannot find an exact matching map. Anybody have any advice on a substitute map?

 

I'm with you. I've got a intake/exhaust combo with a set of mufflers new to the market and could not find a map either. My suggestion is to find a map close to what you are running and do the fine tuning from there. That is the beauty of the PC unit, it is flexible enough to tune to a custom application. Once you have the settings close you can always bring your bike to be dialed in on a dyno by an experienced tuner. However you go, your Power Commander should be up to the task. Good luck!
