Need to compare logged data with a "correct" running 06 Electra glide.

Logged IAT Temperature does not seem right.

Anyone recommend an expert?

Thank You

Post up your data, and I'll take a look. One thing you want to keep in mind:

If you haven't already figured it out, the Intake Air Temp WILL CHANGE as the bike runs.

The Twinscan II plus will start logging data as soon as the power goes on. I reccommend putting a simple toggle switch on the fourth pin on the Data Link Connector going to the Twinscan II.

That way, you can focus on either warm up settings, (Turn the toggle switch on, and start logging data right away)

Or you can let the bike warm up to operating temp, with the toggle switch off, then turn it on to log warm engine running conditions.

You'll be chasing your tail if you forget that there is an enrichment mode in the ECM Map for cold engine operation.

Work with data systems all day at work,

Great idea about the switch.

Glad to send you a copy of the data file, if you have an interest.

Took a 100 mile ride, IAT value is 40 Deg C at the fifty mile mark, as the trip continues the IAT gradually increases to the 50 - 55 Deg C.

Bike was crusing at 70 - 72 MPH as the IAT was increasing. Do not have capability to record air temperatue with the Twin Scan II at theis point.

PM a email address and we will forward the Twin Scan II File.

Thanks for the assistance

I sent a PM with my email address. I need to look at my IAT data, but I don't remember the IAT being that High.

Note, I am on a V-Rod, and the IAT is out of the way of engine heat. The 2002 V-Rods had the IAT loacated between the heads, and subsiquently had them moved to a cool area next to the air filter.
