PCIII vs SERT
Bare with me here folks. I know 95% of you are thinkin "not another PCIII vs SERT thread!"
Im thinking about ditching the V&H Fuelpak for either the SERT or PCIII. I was royally cheesed when i found out the Fuelpak doesnt do timing like i was told it would do by the Dealer.
Im really leaning towards the PCIII as it can be removed with no traces left unlike the SERT that permanently imprints itself onto your ECM. (avoiding any warranty issues) and also the PCIII doesnt replace the ECM like the Thundermax does.
The HQ protuner works with the SERT and PCIII making both "self tuning" so i can still go with a HQ103" kit down the road.
Thundermax Auto / SERT with protuner / PCIII with protuner all in the same price range too.

RE: PCIII vs SERT
Hi, try a search on the forums, you should get all the info you require. this has been covered in depth before so you may not get as good a response as you would wish.
If the info on the search dosen't give you what you want, you can always add to a thread to bring it back to the current open thread list.

RE: PCIII vs SERT
Got the PC111 on mine now with a HQ 103 build. It does work fine but PC 111 has a limit on timing of 5 degrees. If you look at Dougs timing suggestions on the HQ website there are quite a few calling for -6. The stage 2 flash helps getting you closer and I have not done that. The only problem I have is during extreme heat, get some light pinging. Just saying the PC111 works butis close to the limit. For what its worth.
Just getting the Protuner on its first tuning runs now.May get a few more miles this weekend.
