Default Any T-Max experts on here?

Can someone look at my map and tell me if I'm doing it right? I've leaned it out a bit at 2560 to try to improve mileage at cruise (70mph).

http://members.***.net/wichitagreg/g...3930000000.zip

This is my map file zipped.

Stock 393 map with adjustments made to the AFR@RPM pages for 2560 and the one before and the one after.

I would appreciate another set of eyes. I still only get 35MPG at steady 70MPH cruise. Great power at all gears and rpm's.

What you did looks fine as far as it goes. I did the same, but went to 14.005 sooner. Here is a change I picked up elsewhere:
Start at RPM table 2048
AFR AFR TPS
13.426 13.947 14.303
13.831 14.063 17.164
14.005 14.121 20.025
14.005 14.121 22.885
14.005 14.121 25.746
14.005 14.121 28.606
14.005 14.121 31.467
14.005 14.121 34.328
13.831 13.889 37.188
13.426 13.426 40.049

Repeat at these RPM tables:
2304
2560
2816
3072
3328
3584

This was worth about 2 MPG. I'm assuming your running a bigger A/C, dual pipes and slipons for this map?

Yes, I'm running Rinehart t/d, K&N 3910.

Seems to be too many nmbers in your chart...I'm confused.

Oops, sorry. Disregard the middle column. That was for another experiment. Should be:
AFR TPS
13.426 14.303
13.831 17.164
14.005 20.025
14.005 22.885
14.005 25.746
14.005 28.606
14.005 31.467
14.005 34.328
13.831 37.188
13.426 40.049

Repeat at these RPM tables:
2304
2560
2816
3072
3328
3584

I have been trying to do the same thing by leaning out the cruse range it does not help that much, I think by advancing the timing a little should give you better mpg’s to but I am to chicken to do it. I wonder if a tuner can get it right on the money with no pinging or any issue like that.

Why can't I open these damn maps. I have Excel but it opens into what looks like a program, but makes no sense. I see reference to silk. Is that an aditional program I need to view it?

Yes. You need the SmartLink software from ThunderMax.

Once you get the Smartlink software, open Smartlink, then go to File>Open and drill down to where you unzipped the map file.
