Ah...I wouldn't know..and to honest with you....WHY???????It's scarey enough at 80MPH without being "locked" into that speed. Maybe Harley has some safety feature installed to prevent just that from happening? It's when we become "comfortable"...that things start to happen.

There are some parts of I-95, where if you're only doing 80 (inany lane), you're at risk of being run over.
Seriously, I don't have c-c, but I know what traffic on certain parts ofsome interstatesis like. You've got to move or you're putting yourself at high risk.

Not refering to traffic volume but rather the speed of the flow.... Personally, I ride slightly ahead of the flow... I don't want to depend onthe driver of a car (who is drinking his coffee while yakking on his cell phone) to see me ... I want to be the onemoving past him.... Just my opinion...It's how I've been riding for30 years....

BTW...sorry about the OT.....
I don't know how to bypass the 80+ lockout... I know on some aftermarket C-C for cars there is a pot that can be adjusted for this.... maybe the case on the H-D??

With the CHP and LIDAR, you won't need to go that fast (or need a 6th gear, for that matter). Just deep pockets for tickets and higher insurance rates.

Go to HD spend $6 for a throttle lock. You should have the opening for it on your throttle housing. Worked for me. 80 is too slow for me going across WY and NV.

I think it's embedded in the ECM on all of them.. I know my 09 is that way.
