I have to go with that also, does the fuel pump sound normal or different than usual.
This is what the hose looks like and it rubs through from chafing on the inside of the tank. If you replace it as the problem, slit the old hose and put it over the new one with some tie wraps to prevent this from happening again. I' have seen this quite a few times.You can diagnose it with a fuel pressure test.You shoulod see about 46 lbs of pressure normally

Nice work TC and Subzero,one of the best in town here[Mpls},told me the same thing this AM, as I didnt know...he mentioned something about the Delphi needing more pressure [52psi]than the earlier Magnetti-Marellie[40-47psi] induction modules,but I can't remember exactly why...Bob
