Default No spark or very little spark

My old man has an 86 Sporty and his front cyclinder is not firing up. It will pop every now and then is cold to the touch when the rear cyclinder is hot. I thought it may have been a bad coil or plug wires and they were both replaced, but the problem continues.

Any suggestions? I'm wondering if he has a pinched wire some
where

Mickey do a compression check....the ignition system on the 86 is a dual firewhich means both plugs fire at the same time. If the rear cylinder is getting spark and you changed the coil and plug wires the chances are the front plug is firing too. If the compression is very low in the front cylinder it won't fire so it will be cool to the touch.
Good Luck
