anybody in the inglewood ca.or surrounding area that can help me drop a map in my system--sert need help

 

All you need is a SERT, computer, and SERT CD and about 10 minutes. Piece of cake. Follow the directions. Just make sure the handlebar "RUN" switch is ON when you communicate with the ECM.

 

I'm nearby but know nothing about sert. I have read that it is sometimes difficult if you have Windows Vista.

The cost of a SERT system these days retails in the upper $400 range once you buy the cable set. The module is good for one bike only and cannot be re-used to map the ECM of another bike. It can be used an infinite number of times on your bike, however. So if you want to use a SERT to upload a particular calibration file (EFI map) to your bike, you will be required to purchase the SERT. No other way. Good luck.
