Default High Energy Ingition systems

I just purchased an 2007 Ultra Classic in March and have had one of the funnest summersI can remember. I'm looking to get some more HP/torque and I have already added Stage 1 kit with EFI tuner, oil cooler and screaming eagle pipes. Among the other standard changes, cam, heads etc, can any one educate me on:

[ol][*]Benefit of high energy ignition systems?[*]Best system for an 07 Ultra Classic?[*]Pros & cons?[/ol]
Thank you for your time and help!

Default RE: High Energy Ingition systems

If by "EFI tuner" you mean something piggy-backing the stock Delphi then you'd probably be best off using the stock ignition components since the Delphi gear has circuitry in the coils with which it uses the spark plugs as knock sensors. If you're using a replacement ECU then it won't matter so much since they don't use that functionality (at least to my understanding).
