Stator Replacement- few questions

Stator Replacement- few questions
Hi
I still havent received my manual so i have a few questions about replacing the stator.
Are there any special tools involved? Can I remove the nut for the rotor or is there a high torque on it that would require a special tool to hold it? I can always blast it off with an impact, but what about torquing it up? Special puller or standard puller set work? Is there anything else I should know??
My bike is an 89 FLHTC
