Default Integrated Garage Door Opener

Haven't seen anything posted about doing this before so I figured I would. Took me longer to take my fairing off then to do the hook up. Works great and beats the hell outta the price of the Harley one.
Heres the link for the how to. So simple I shoulda thought of it myself!

That is really cool. I'm going to carve out some time to get that done.

Thanks.

I did this on my Heritage but I made it simple,I jumped the button like you did but I wrapped the whole remote control unit in electrical tape and used silicone to glue it inside the headlight housing,By doing that all you have to do is connect the wires from the remote to the high beam wire and the ground and you only use 6" of wire.

Hey all,

Thought about the same deal. Instead, bought 2 of these and put them on my key rings. I keep a carbiner on my belt- just push the button. You can, however, do the same mod with this much smaller unit. FOr Genie door openers- available at LOWES!!
