Default UPDATE: '08 Fatboy batter cannot keep a good charge ??

I ride an '08 Fatboy. After two or three short rides ( 5 miles or so) I start to lose cranking power from my battery.
I thought this might have been a one time thing, but its a chronic issue now, as I have to put my bike on the trickle charger
once a week. My bike has never not started but I've had it crank very slowly a couple of times wondering whether there was enough juice.

Anyone have this prob? What do I do?

Take the battery back to the stealer ship and demand a new one for the bike and see if you have a problem with that onethe battery you have know might have lost a cell and won't hold the charge.
good luck

Definately have the battery tested first. You might want to look at the battery connections to see if they are clean, and tight.

Stealer fixed it. The problem was a loose ground wire, says I could have blew up the ECM or whatever...I'm thinking " you delivered the bike to me this way.."
