Has anyone heard any new rumors as to when the SERT will be released for the '08 bikes?

 

I read a guys post a few days ago and he said that his dealer said they are not going to make a SERT for 08's, I hope this is bogus, because then you would have to have the dealer Dyno-Tune bike for mods. you may have done. PURPLE HAZE.

I suspect that it is bogus. My dealer now says late September.

 

How, pray tell, would they do that with no SERT? It would take at least one SERT to tune a pattern bike in order to develop a map they could flash into the ECU (assuming the resultant map is of the type that can be loaded into a stock ECU).

 

I 2nd that. Dyno'ing wouldnt do ya anygood w/o the SERT. IMHFUO.

 

I got a call from parts guy at the dealer, and the 08 SERT is in. My bike will not be here till Nov. I pick one up so I don't have to wait when it gets here.
