RE: any body with 07 and a tmax with auto tune got ride of your pinging
I have pinging and decell pop, just loaded base map 393, have seac, se slip ons only, No decel pop before the tmax install, put the IDS on the bike becaues of the well known rocks in a can at about the same time as the tmax so i dont know if there was pinging before or not. Thinking about taking it to a tuner which makes me wonder what happened to the auto tune?

No pinging issues here. I would e-mail Zippers technical support and make sure you loaded the appropriate base map. My bike is stock except for the pipe and air cleaner. It runs smoother and is more responsive than with the factory ecm (before pipe/filter were added). Keep working with Zippers. Great support......they will help you get it right.

ORIGINAL: Yardstick
I basically got the same set up and I am using map: HDTSSGVCXE050107.slk and I have no such issues. See what map you are using and try this one.

RE: any body with 07 and a tmax with auto tune got ride of your pinging
I picked up my Rineharts, Big Sucker and the TMax yesterday from Eastern Preformance. They seem like great guys and answered alot of my questions. I am hoping I can install the TMax with no problems. I am pretty good with a wrench but this computer crap worries me. My question is: do youloadthe Smartlink into your laptop then load the maps after you install or can you load the map into it when loading the Smartlink and then install the TMax in to bike? Thanks,Bobby

The T-Max must be powered up before it can receive or send data. If you have the bench top power supply you can load a map into T-Max while it is off the bike. If you do not have the bench top power supply then you will need to install the Smartlink software on your laptop, install the T-max on the bike, load the map of choice (Unless your T-Max arrives with a preloaded map) and then follow the set up and initialization instructions.
Good luck with it.
