I did replace my fuel pump and parts in a sportster. Then, with an unnamed brand regulator, I had a blowout and had to take it apart for another regulator. Just wondering about quality thoughts on the pumps....there are a few, such as FPF, Quantum, V Twin, Kemso and OSIRS.....and I suspect more. Am thinking that the Japanese pumps may be better quality than Chinese, but who knows. Thoughts??

 

you get what you pay for. hd is not the only brand either, seen a ton of these pumps made for honda as well with a high fail rate and the problem is compounded when just a few china companies make them under varied names.
for critical components, stick with OEM.
