SPARK PLUG WIRE RESISTANCE ???
#11
Thanks for your answer. It is a good advice, but I will measure the wires at the dealer before I buy them there again. The only reason for shutting knockcontrol off, would be if it would malfunction together with low resistance after market wires, which I have read they could do. I would never turn knockcontrol off unless I know I was free from knockcounts. Just speaking for myself here - no advice to anyone.
He said the small difference in say what you see in the Harley branded sparkplug and the NGK plug didn't affect it.
Don't ever recall and thing about what or how much would it take to affect it adversely.
Not sure why you would want to shut it off on a street bike.
