Lot has been said about the ION system on here over the years. We use to have a USER on here that was a electronic engineer who said he worked for Harley in their electronics in the development of the electrical side of the TC.

He said the small difference in say what you see in the Harley branded sparkplug and the NGK plug didn't affect it.

Don't ever recall and thing about what or how much would it take to affect it adversely.

Not sure why you would want to shut it off on a street bike.
